One of my favorite parts of the design process is the moment a concept begins to take physical form through materials. Lately, I’ve been drawn to the warmth of reclaimed wood paired with the industrial sharpness of brushed steel and glass.
There is a specific tactile quality to sustainable materials that I find incredibly inspiring. As designers, we have the power to choose elements that are not only durable and aesthetic but also ethically sourced. I’m currently curating a series of mood boards that focus on "earthy minimalism"—neutral palettes that rely on heavy textures like linen, lime wash, and terracotta to create depth. I’ll be sharing more of these material studies here as I continue to build my library and explore new finishes in the field.
