The Intersection of Wellness and Interior Architecture

Why I believe the future of interior design lies in creating spaces that prioritize the mental and physical health of the user.

The Intersection of Wellness and Interior Architecture

We spend nearly 90% of our lives indoors. To me, that makes the role of an interior architect a profound responsibility. During my final year at SDSU, I became increasingly fascinated by how physical environments influence our psychological well-being.

Whether it’s the strategic use of biophilic elements, the optimization of natural light, or the acoustics of a shared workspace, every detail contributes to a person’s daily experience. My goal is to create environments that do more than just look beautiful—they should actively support the health and productivity of everyone who enters. I look forward to exploring these concepts further in my professional work, ensuring that every project is grounded in a human-centric approach.
